What is Crickalympics?
- Cricket by numbering.
- In this game, every single player plays for himself instead of a team.
Why Crickalympics?
- To bring out the true talent of a cricket player as an all rounder.
- To increase the momentum of cricket in the field of sports.
- This new style of the game shall be a delight to watch for cricket viewers.
- The game shall act as a new platform for cricket players round the world.
- The traditional Cricket is played between two teams of 11 players each where the winner is a team on a whole. So, the winner’s probability is 1/2 i.e. the competition level is much lower as compared to “One on One” where the winning probability is 1/12. The higher the competition level, the higher the excitement level.
- Instead of playing for a team, a player plays for himself which is much more exciting for a player as he is his own team, his own captain, his own coach.
- As mentioned in the rule book, each player bats, bowls, fields and keeps in a single game and judged on the same. Hence, this will bring out the best all-rounders from all round the world.
- It’ll be a totally new and attractive concept that’ll grab more viewer attention.
- A new platform for the players to show one’s talent and passion for the game.
